Caring for Others in Redmond, Oregon is seeking a payroll specialist to process accurate, timely payroll in a fast-paced, high-volume environment on a rotating weekly schedule, using our HRIS and EHR. The in-person role handles new hires, terminations, pay changes, reimbursements, and reconciliations, while auditing for errors and ensuring tax, garnishment, and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; 2+ years of high-volume payroll experience preferred.
• Experience with Paylocity and multi-location/multi-state payroll is desirable.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data sets are essential.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines are required.
• Solid understanding of payroll tax, deduction, and compliance requirements; HIPAA awareness is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate, timely payroll for employees across alternating weekly cycles.
• Reconcile timekeeping data between EHR and HRIS.
• Process new hires, terminations, pay changes, and expense reimbursements.
• Audit payroll pre- and post-processing to catch and resolve errors.
• Review tax filings and garnishments for accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile monthly payroll accounts and support year-end W-2 processing.
