Job summary

A-Line Staffing is hiring a Patient Services Representative (Front Office) in Nashville, TN. This on-site, temporary role offers $13.35–$20.54 per hour, full-time (40 hours/week) with schedule details provided by the Account Manager.

Responsibilities include checking in patients, entering insurance data, verifying eligibility, collecting co-pays, posting payments, and supporting billing. Requires a high school diploma and 3–5 years of medical office experience; on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of medical business office experience.
• Must be willing/able to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Check in/register patients; schedule appointments.
• Accurately enter and update insurance, demographic, and eligibility information.
• Verify insurance eligibility; obtain pre-authorizations and referrals as needed.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket amounts at time of visit.
• Post charges/payments/adjustments; balance receipts and reconcile daily work batches.
• Review EOBs, submit/process claims, and research claim delays to support payment resolution.
• Resolve patient billing questions/complaints; resubmit claims and process correspondence.
• Follow up on assigned accounts and support collection/payment arrangement workflows.
• Help patients access community resources (housing, transportation, medication/pharmacy supplies, financial assistance).
• Follow the Organization's Compliance Program, Code of Ethics, and Business Standards.
