Baylor Scott & White Health in Waxahachie, TX is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nursing and clinical teams with direct patient care, vital signs, and basic clinical tasks. You will assist with patient transport and help maintain a safe care environment, collaborating with nurses and healthcare staff to ensure quality care.

The role requires strong patient care skills, BLS certification, and the ability to lift and position patients in a hospital setting.

Competenze

• Strong patient care skills in clinical or hospital settings (Direct Patient Care, Patient Care support).
• Knowledge of basic clinical procedures including Medical Assisting.
• Ability to measure and document Vital Signs and escalate concerns.
• Good communication and teamwork, ability to follow instructions and collaborate with healthcare staff.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, or Medical Assisting program preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe; prior hospital/clinical experience beneficial.
• Ability to lift, position, and transport patients following safety and infection control protocols.
