Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a part-time teller to provide quality, accurate customer service in a retail banking environment, processing daily financial transactions and handling cash. You will be the first point of contact, refer clients to other areas of the Bank, and promote bank products while maintaining high service standards and compliance with audit and security policies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or strongly preferred.
6 months cash handling or teller experience preferred or equivalent.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Handle a cash drawer with proper cash control and adhere to audit and security policies.
Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments for customers.
Process miscellaneous transactions (bonds, money orders, etc.).
Assist in daily balancing and processing of ATM transactions.
Assist in verification of deposits at night and lobby depository.
Assist with dual control vault responsibilities.
Stay informed of operational updates and compliance requirements.
Identify cross selling opportunities and refer clients to appropriate teams.
Promote bank products and services to enhance client relationships.
Adhere to bank regulations, internal controls, and code of ethics.
