Job summary

Konecranes in Lexington, KY is seeking an Industrial Technician to service overhead cranes. You’ll troubleshoot 480V 3-phase motors, perform inspections, and coordinate with clients to meet service needs across the United States.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred) with at least 1 year of electrical and mechanical repair experience, driving license, and willingness to travel. Safety is a core focus in daily duties.

Qualifications

• Education shows HS diploma required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• 1+ year electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair experience preferred.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites.
• Provide on-call service as part of rotation; after-hours support when needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Complete service reports and document safety notifications to customers.
• Consult with customers on repairs and safety improvements for material handling.
