Job summary

Hanwha Philly Shipyard is seeking a qualified QC Inspector to ensure inspections, witness tests, and reports meet project requirements across vessel outfitting. You will coordinate with start-up, engineering and other departments, perform dimensional checks and hydro tests, and maintain quality records in accordance with shipyard procedures.

This on-site, full-time role requires a high school diploma and practical shipbuilding knowledge; safety protocols are mandatory and the position involves

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints or be trainable to read blueprints.
• Communicate with Production team, Owner, & Class Society reps.
• Perform inspections and witness tests per procedures.
• Maintain quality records and reports.
• Able to work within confined spaces and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Ensure procedures and regulations are followed.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and function.
• Perform incoming inspections with materials control staff.
• Coordinate QC work with other departments.
