Job summary

Purcell's Global Mining Group is seeking an OTR Field Service Tech to provide safe, efficient tire repair and service for mining equipment in Western Nevada. The role requires travel, operates hydraulic boom, and involves mounting/dismounting tires with proper tools.

The ideal candidate has OTR tire experience, a valid driver's license, and is committed to safety. Compensation reflects high industry wages with paid training, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to field sites across and beyond Western Nevada.
• Valid driver’s license required with clean MVR for at least 3 years.
• OTR tire experience is required for site service and field repairs.
• Boom (hands) truck experience is preferred but not required.
• Current MSHA certification is preferred but not required.
• Underground experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Commit to continual improvement, training & professional growth.
• Operate hydraulic boom.
• Dismount and mount OTR tires on sites using proper tools and safe procedures.
• Disassemble and reassemble tires onto wheels ensuring correct size and ply.
• Repair tires as needed; replace valve stems and remove puncturing objects.
• Keep service truck, tools, and equipment clean and maintained.
• Capture and track site data following assigned schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of work area.
• Embrace Purcell’s culture of safety and perform all jobs safely.
• Look for opportunities to improve products and services.
• Perform other essential and non-essential duties as assigned by management.
