Job summary

Purcell Tire Company is seeking an OTR Service Tech to perform safe, efficient field tire repair and service for mining equipment in Western Nevada. The role emphasizes continual improvement, training, and adherence to Purcell’s safety culture.

You will operate hydraulic booms, dismount and mount tires, and ensure proper tire size and ply on-site. A valid CDL, MSHA/TIA certifications are preferred, with opportunities for development and bonuses.

Qualifications

• OTR tire experience required.
• Boom (hands) truck experience required.
• Current MSHA certification preferred.
• Current TIA ETS certification preferred.
• Valid CDL and clean MVR (no DUIs, <=2 moving violations).

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic boom arm and service tires on site.
• Dismount and remount OTR tires using proper tools and procedures.
• Disassemble and reassemble tires onto wheels with correct size and ply.
• Repair tires by replacing valve stems and removing puncturing objects.
• Keep service truck and equipment clean and well-maintained.
• Capture and track site data according to issued schedules and safety standards.

What You Need:

• OTR tire experience required
