Job summary

Purcell's Global Mining Group in Nevada is seeking an OTR Field Service Tech to provide safe, efficient tire repair and service for mining equipment at client sites. Responsibilities include operating hydraulic booms, mounting/dismounting tires, and ensuring proper tire sizing and safety procedures on site.

The role requires willingness to travel, a valid driver's license, and a 3-year clean MVR with no DUI.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 3-year clean MVR with no DUI.
• OTR tire experience required.
• Boom (hands) truck experience preferred, but not required.
• MSHA certification preferred, but not required.
• Underground experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic boom on site.
• Dismount and mount OTR tires on mining equipment using proper tools and safety procedures.
• Disassemble and reassemble tires onto wheels ensuring correct size and ply.
• Repair tires as needed; replace valve stems and remove puncturing objects.
• Keep service truck, tools, and equipment clean and maintained.
• Capture and track site data per issued schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Adhere to Purcell’s safety culture and perform all jobs safely.
• Look for opportunities to improve products and services.
• Perform other essential and non-essential duties as assigned.
