Job summary

Purcell Tire & Rubber Co. is seeking an OTR Service Tech to deliver safe, efficient field tire repair and service for mining equipment in Western Nevada.

You will be part of Purcell's Global Mining Group, focusing on continual improvement, proper tire mounting/dismounting, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while supporting our customers to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• OTR tire experience required.
• Boom (hands) truck experience required.
• Current MSHA Certified preferred.
• Current TIA ETS Certified preferred.
• Valid CDL.
• 3-yr Clean MVR.
• No DUIs & no more than 2 moving violations.

Responsibilities

• Commit to continual improvement, training & professional growth.
• Operate hydraulic boom arm.
• Dismount and mount OTR tires on sites using the proper tools & safe procedures.
• Disassemble and reassemble tires onto wheels ensuring correct size and ply.
• Repair tires as needed; replacing valve stems, removing puncturing objects.
• Keep service truck, tools, and equipment clean and maintained.
• Capture & track site data following and ensuring their issued schedule.
• Maintain standards of cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of work area.
• Embracing Purcell’s culture of safety and perform all jobs in a safe manner.
• Look for opportunities to improve our products & services.
• Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management
