Job summary

DaMar Staffing in Georgia seeks a detail-oriented Medical Coder/Charge Entry Clerk for a full-time, in-person position in a busy orthopaedic specialty practice. The candidate will enter charges, extract CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS codes, apply modifiers, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Coder or minimum 2 years of charge entry and claims follow-up experience.
• Proficiency in ICD-10, HCPCS and CPT coding with active codes.
• Knowledge of modifiers and coding guidelines; accurate and billable codes.

Responsibilities

• Enter all office-based charges and review documentation for codes.
• Extract CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes; ensure accuracy and billability.
• Assist with billing questions and compliance with regulations.
• Manage self-pay collections and balance daily payments/charges.
