Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Goodyear, AZ is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse activities on-site. The role focuses on supervising inbound/outbound operations, labor scheduling, space optimization, and team development.

You will coordinate with the Operations Manager to meet KPI targets, ensure safety and quality, train staff, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and 3 years of logistics/distribution experience.
• Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role is preferred.
• Forklift training and MHE knowledge are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound, outbound, product slotting and customer communications daily.
• Schedule labor, manage space utilization and equipment requirements.
• Hire and train staff; conduct performance reviews and address issues.
• Ensure safety, quality and cost objectives are met according to SOPs.
• Communicate with senior management and client representatives on critical issues.
• Oversee adherence to SOPs and drive continuous improvements in operations.
