Job summary

Critical Materials Group is seeking a Director of Operations for the Ballinger Campus to lead on-site execution and scale the buildout.

You will own the daily, weekly, and monthly operating cadence across Logistics, Site Operations, Safety, and IT/InfoSec, while aligning with the Head of Operations and the Texas campus strategy.

This role demands broad, hands-on leadership, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to build teams and processes that sustain growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive operations leadership experience.
• Experience leading multiple dissimilar functions (supply chain, facilities, safety, IT/InfoSec).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Willingness to reside within commuting distance of the Ballinger Campus.

Responsibilities

• Own daily, weekly, and monthly operating cadence for the Ballinger Campus.
• Translate 1-year plan into weekly/monthly objectives with owners and deadlines.
• Ensure safety, security, and regulatory compliance across the site.
• Build and scale Phase 1 team and processes for phases 2 and 3.
• Manage logistics, supply chain, site operations, and IT/InfoSec coordination.
