Job summary

SB Energy seeks a Site Operations Lead to own the operations for one or more data center campuses near Temple/Burlington, TX. You will directly manage a team of 3rd-party CFEs and report to the Vice President of Operations, coordinating with Engineering & Construction to maintain campus performance.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, budgeting, and safety compliance, while delivering world-class service and building reliability across critical assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of facility/plant engineering and maintenance supervision.
• 10+ years of direct managerial experience and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
• Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and maintain the site-specific preventive maintenance and work order program.
• Prepare and present estimates of cost of parts, equipment and supplies for installation and repairs.
• Schedule, coordinate and oversee maintenance vendors during maintenance and break/fix events.
• Support the Chief Engineer’s operational requirements from the site through SB Energy off-site teams.
• Ensure personnel safety while protecting the facility’s critical equipment.
• Develop required MOPs/SOPs with peers and subordinates.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with MOPs and facility rules.
• Perform periodic reviews of MOPs/SOPs to ensure up-to-date safety guidelines.
• Evaluate system performance and suggest cost-effective improvements.
• Prepare operational and capital portions of the Site Operations budget.
• Manage contracted service work, including scope, bidding and contracts.
• Uphold world-class customer service for SB Energy customers.
