Job summary

Barnsco Texas, a leader in rebar fabrication and concrete construction supplies, seeks a Director of Operations to guide day-to-day activities across our Texas locations. You will build capable teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety and efficiency in production, inventory, and service centers.

Reporting to the President, you will manage budgets, mentor leaders, and partner with Sales and HR to enhance customer satisfaction and company growth while upholding Barnsco Texas values

Qualifications

• 10+ years of management experience in construction materials, fabrication, or distribution/manufacturing.
• Lean, Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and prioritization.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for day-to-day operations across multiple Barnsco Texas locations.
• Coach and staff departmental leaders, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee budgets, safety, and training to ensure high customer service and on-time delivery.
• Interface with Sales and Customer Service to support customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Lead weekly Level 10 meetings with Operations Leaders and participate in executive reviews.
