Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla seeks an Oncology Navigator RN to support cancer patients across the continuum of care.

As a navigator on the multidisciplinary team, you will advocate, educate and coordinate resources for patients, families and referring physicians, from diagnosis through survivorship. You will provide nursing expertise, conduct screenings and education, and act as a liaison within the hospital and community to connect patients with clinical and supportive

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• Washington Registered Nurse License is required.
• National Provider BLS from American Heart Association is required.
• Oncology Nurse Certified within 3 years of hire.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Certified Nurse in disease specific process is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care throughout the cancer continuum from diagnosis through survivorship.
• Advocate, educate and counsel patients, families and caregivers.
• Act as liaison with referring physicians and community resources; provide nursing care including screenings and education.
