Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center is seeking an Oncology Navigator to coordinate cancer care from diagnosis through survivorship. You will advocate for patients, communicate with the care team, and connect patients and families with resources for clinical and supportive services.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Washington RN license required at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required at hire.
• Oncology Nurse Certified within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care from diagnosis through survivorship in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Serve as a liaison for referring physicians, patients and caregivers to access resources and services.
• Provide expert nursing care including screenings, education, diagnosis information and research.
• Support within navigation primary service lines focused on Women (breast, cervix), Men (prostate, GU) and Head/Neck (lung, oral).
