Job summary

PASS Security, Inc. is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to install, configure, service and repair low voltage systems including Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, Nurse Calls, and Intercoms.

You will troubleshoot issues, inspect installations for code compliance, and provide clear project reporting to the team on site. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of Fire Alarm experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and NICET I certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience with Fire Alarms.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• NICET I certification preferred.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems incl. Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV and Intercoms.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Able to use lifts and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Program, start-up, troubleshoot and commission new system installation.
• Troubleshoot Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, Nurse Calls and Intercom systems.
• Communicate project status and timelines to project lead and client.
• Assist with installation projects with direction for success.
• Review design documents for accuracy prior to installation.
• Perform inspections to ensure alarms work per code.
• Complete detailed project reports.
• Respond to emergency service calls.
• On-call schedule may be required.
• Travel with crew and ride company vehicle.
