Job summary

Standard Nuclear, Inc. seeks an on-site Operations Manager in Richland to lead an advanced fuel production project. You will own the schedule, coordinate between engineering, operations, vendors, and Framatome teams, and ensure readiness for commissioning and handover to operations.

The role requires hands-on project management, strong organization, field judgment, and the ability to maintain progress in a complex technical environment while managing risks and escalating issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5–10+ years in project management or manufacturing startup.
• Experience with schedules, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience with equipment installation or commissioning.
• Ability to read technical drawings and documentation.
• Experience in regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated schedule for installation, commissioning, and handoff.
• Develop plans, timelines, and budgets; hit milestones.
• Track milestones, risks, blockers, and dependencies.
• Maintain action logs, readiness checklists, and project reports.
• Coordinate with on-site teams and vendors on a daily/weekly basis.
• Escalate risks early and drive timely resolutions.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of equipment, modules, and systems.
• Ensure inputs, owners, documentation, and follow-up actions are tracked.
• Support readiness reviews and turnover planning from installation to operation.
• Capture lessons learned and share them with internal teams.
