Job description

Standard Nuclear is fueling America’s nuclear renaissance at industrial scale. Our mission is to deliver the essential building blocks of nuclear power—enabling cost‑effective, safe, and secure energy for the world.

The Operations Manager in Richland is responsible for managing the development of an advanced fuel production project, to include equipment delivery and installation, commissioning readiness, and project coordination activities at Standard Nuclear’s partner manufacturing site in Richland, WA. This role serves as Standard Nuclear’s on‑site project lead, owning the schedule, action tracking, issue escalation, partner coordination, and execution visibility required to bring the operation online successfully.

This position will work closely with Standard Nuclear engineering, operations, project leadership, vendors, and Framatome site teams to ensure process modules, equipment, utilities, documentation, installation activities, and commissioning requirements are aligned. This includes the preparation, review, and implementation of manufacturing documentation to include System Design Descriptions (SDDs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Environmental Safety & Health (ES&H) documentation, and other programmatic requirements for a commercial fuel cycle facility.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on project manager who can drive timelines, coordinate technical stakeholders, manage risks, and maintain clear communication between Standard Nuclear and partner teams. This role requires strong organization, practical field judgment, and the ability to keep installation and commissioning work moving in a complex technical environment.
