Job summary

The Day & Zimmermann Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for on-site leadership at a uranium enrichment facility in Eunice, NM.

You will oversee cost, schedule and risk for assigned projects, establish the integrated project team, and report status to senior leadership. You must be able to obtain NRC L-level security clearance for site access and ensure successful commissioning of projects.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years relevant Project Management experience at a power plant/equivalent facility
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as Construction Manager or Project Manager
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; associate degree acceptable with relevant experience
• DOE/Nuclear experience preferred; PMP Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost, schedule and risk for assigned projects and establish execution strategy
• Lead definition, planning, estimating, and execution in line with Client procedures and HS&E requirements
• Report status to senior leadership and complete periodic reports/updates
• Ensure deliverables, including project documentation, are submitted and approved by Client with successful commissioning

Microsoft Office Suite

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field

Associate’s degree in a relevant field or journeyman/technical program

Equivalent combination of education and experience
