Job summary

Utah Nonprofit Housing Corporation seeks a Resident Assistant to serve as an on-site presence at select properties in Salt Lake City, West Valley City, and Ogden. This part-time role includes after-hours coverage and a housing benefit for a proactive, community-minded individual.

You will respond to emergencies, monitor safety, assist with move-ins/outs, and help residents feel safe and supported during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong sense of responsibility, calm under pressure, and good judgment.
• Ability to respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies.
• Willingness to live on-site and engage with a diverse resident population.
• Good written communication for incident documentation.

Responsibilities

• After-Hours Emergency Response: Respond to urgent resident needs and coordinate with on-call staff.
• Security and Safety Monitoring: Conduct rounds and report safety concerns promptly.
• Maintenance Support: Assist with after-hours entry and light setup during move-ins/outs.
• General Resident Support: Be a positive presence and relay notices from management.
