Job summary

The March of Dimes is seeking a full-time, on-site Family-Cocused NICU Coordinator for Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital in Falls Church, VA to develop and evaluate family-centered activities that improve the patient/family experience.

You will recruit, onboard and manage volunteers, ensure compliance with hospital policies, coordinate staff development, and report program impact to March of Dimes and hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience or RN license.
• Two to four years of experience required; NICU-related experience or as a NICU parent is a plus.
• Strong program development and volunteer management experience is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, support and direct services to families by coordinating education hours and social activities to meet program metrics.
• Recruit, onboard, train and manage volunteers; ensure compliance with policies and protocols.
• Coordinate staff development opportunities and education offerings with hospital partners.
• Serve as a liaison between March of Dimes and the hospital site to deepen partnerships and plan patient experience projects.
• Maintain accurate records and report program impact as directed.
