This on-site, full-time role at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, RI coordinates family-centered activities, volunteers, and educational offerings to enhance the patient/family experience and support NICU staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience in Social Work, Education, Public Health or related field; or RN license acceptable.
• Two to four years of experience; one to three years in related field or NICU parent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams in an intensive care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development, implementation and evaluation of family-centered activities for NICU families.
• Recruit, onboard, train and manage volunteers and ensure program compliance.
• Coordinate staff development opportunities and participate in March of Dimes and hospital education offerings.
• Serve as liaison between March of Dimes and NICU hospital site partner.
• Maintain program records, reporting and metrics for program impact.
