Job summary

March of Dimes in Omaha, NE seeks a part-time NICU Family Support Coordinator to plan and evaluate family-centered activities for NICU families and staff at CHI Health. You will recruit and lead volunteers, ensure program compliance and support hospital partnerships.

Responsibilities include coordinating core curriculum education hours, developing program focus areas, and maintaining records to demonstrate impact for local and regional offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of experience; NICU or NICU family support background ideal.
• Strong program development and volunteer management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of Core Curriculum parent education hours and social activities to meet program components.
• Recruit, onboard, train and manage volunteers including advisory committee.
• Ensure compliance with MOD and hospital policies.
• Provide NICU staff development opportunities promoting family-centered care.
• Serve as liaison between March of Dimes and NICU site to deepen partnership.
• Develop an annual Area of Program Focus with MOD and NICU leadership.
• Maintain accurate records of program activities and impact reporting.
