Job summary

March of Dimes in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a part-time NICU Family Support Coordinator to develop, implement and evaluate family-centered educational and social activities for parents of NICU babies and NICU staff. This on-site role focuses on program quality, volunteer coordination and community partnership.

Based at Nebraska Medical Center, you will recruit and train volunteers, maintain records, ensure compliance with hospital protocols, and collaborate with NICU leadership to advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 2 to 4 years of experience.
• Experience in NICU or family support helpful.
• Strong program development and volunteer management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Core Curriculum parent education hours and social activities to meet program components.
• Recruit, onboard, train and manage volunteers.
• Ensure compliance with MOD and hospital policies.
• Provide staff development opportunities and participate in education offerings.
• Serve as liaison between March of Dimes and NICU hospital site to maintain partnership.
• Develop annual Area of Program Focus with MOD and NICU leadership.
• Maintain accurate records and report program impact.
