Job summary

Newmar Corporation in Nappanee, IN is seeking a Network Support Specialist to maintain a reliable and secure technology environment across office and manufacturing spaces.

You will troubleshoot wired/wireless networks, support VPNs, firewalls, and collaboration tools while coordinating with vendors and internal teams. This is a 100% on-site, full-time role requiring hands-on experience in IT networking.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of IT networking support or related tech support experience.
• Working knowledge TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Cisco switching, and basic network configuration.
• Experience troubleshooting wired and wireless connectivity, Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, and Office apps.
• Strong customer service, communication, troubleshooting, and ownership skills.
• Able to work independently and hands-on in office and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues including switches, VLANs, PoE, DNS, DHCP, and performance.
• Support network equipment, wireless access points, cabling, Palo Alto firewalls, GlobalProtect VPN, and related infrastructure.
• Support network-connected manufacturing equipment, shop-floor PCs, conference room tech, and VoIP platform.
• Deploy, replace, and upgrade network hardware and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, procedures, knowledge-base articles, and change records.
• Provide Tier 1/2 support for Windows, hardware, Microsoft 365, Teams, deployments, moves, and onboarding.
