Job summary

NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc. in Amityville, NY is seeking a Mid‑Senior Network Engineer to join our IT team in a hands‑on, on‑site role focused on strengthening and modernizing our network infrastructure.

You will reconfigure the internal network, organize VPN connectivity, maintain secure, well patched infrastructure, and collaborate with security teams to meet SOX and NIST CSF controls. This is a practical, execution‑driven position for an engineer who enjoys working with network hardware

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in network engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Hands‑on in Juniper switching, VPNs, SD‑WAN, wireless networking, and QoS.
• Experience with multi‑ISP WAN and network device patching.
• SOX regulated or compliance driven environments; strong documentation.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and support enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage VLANs, routing, segmentation and QoS for VoIP traffic.
• Oversee VPNs (site‑to‑site and remote access) and secure vendor access.
• Coordinate with security partners and IT leadership on changes.
• Support hybrid/cloud connectivity (Azure or AWS) and audit readiness.
