Job summary

Santa Clara Development Corporation in Espanola, NM, is seeking an IT Network Solutions Engineer to design, implement, and manage the organization’s network infrastructure onsite.

You will optimize LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless, and security controls, collaborate with IT leadership, manage projects, document configurations, and plan for the long term to ensure a reliable, scalable network aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CS or related field with 2 years of network engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Computer Engineering preferred.
• 3–5+ years of enterprise network administration/engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN and related network infrastructure.
• Administer switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
• Develop network architecture diagrams, IP schemes, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Lead or participate in network projects from requirements to deployment.
• Ensure security controls and incident response for network infrastructure.
