First PREMIER Bank is seeking an experienced Network Manager to lead design, configuration, and deployment of enterprise data networks in a largely on-site environment in Sioux Falls, SD. The role emphasizes robust security, performance optimization, and proactive issue resolution.

The ideal candidate will guide multi-project initiatives, mentor staff, and maintain thorough documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in designing, configuring, and deploying network systems.
• Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve network issues effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, other departments, and senior management.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and supervise a team of network professionals, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Familiarity with various networking technologies and tools, such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, Cloud, and network monitoring tools.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, or equivalent degree or experience preferred.
• Previous project management experience working on complex and multifaceted implementations preferred.
• Extensive experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting, repair, supporting, administering, design and planning in LAN/WAN/Cloud environments required.
• Current valid industry certification or any additional industry recognized certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain network solutions that provide core infrastructure, integrate with services and systems running in virtual, private, and public cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure that the network infrastructure is robust, secure, and capable of supporting the organization’s needs.
• Communicate with the team to identify needs, monitor performance, and diagnose and resolve issues with network and systems.
• Provide project management for various network activities, including upgrades, implementations, and migrations, offering technical direction and user support as needed.
• Create, update, and maintain documentation of the environment and operational procedures.
• Create reports and documentation outlining findings and solutions.
• Partners with teams within the organization to resolve issues and work on future enhancements.
• Interviews, hires, and trains new staff. Provides constructive and timely performance reviews. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
