Job summary

M.A. Polce Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer - Professional Services to join our in-person team in Central NY. The role focuses on proactive IT infrastructure support across on‑premise, private cloud, and public cloud environments.

You will develop standards, best practices, and deliver consistent operations management for a diverse client base, balancing confidentiality, integrity, and availability while automating manual tasks where possible.

Qualifications

• BS in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related IT discipline.
• CCNA certification required; CCNP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical specs for quotes and SoW.
• Act as SME to interpret customer requirements.
• Administer network and security devices (Firewalls, Routers, Switches).
• Design, troubleshoot, and implement network designs with internal teams.
• Perform hardware/software upgrades and maintain network docs.
• Manage VoIP systems (Cisco Webex, Call Manager).
• Develop automation scripts and reports; automate routine tasks.
• Maintain SOPs and change management records.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and off-hours work as needed.
