Job summary

NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc. in Amityville, NY seeks a Mid-Senior Network Engineer to join our IT team in a hands‑on, on‑site role focused on strengthening and modernizing our network infrastructure.

You will reconfigure internal networks, secure VPN connectivity, and maintain patching, with emphasis on SOX and the NIST CSF, working with vendors and internal teams to improve stability and security.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper switching environments and SD‑WAN.
• Experience supporting enterprise networks with VPNs and multi‑ISP WAN.
• Familiar with SOX/compliance and NIST CSF frameworks.
• Strong documentation and change management practices.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure.
• Implement, secure, and optimize VPN connectivity (site-to-site and remote access).
• Manage multi-ISP WAN / failover, QoS, VLANs, and VoIP traffic.
• Patch, upgrade, and secure network devices and conduct vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate with security partners and IT leadership on incident triage and remediation.
• Document configurations, standards, and audit evidence for SOX ITGCs.
