Job summary

AAC in Washington, DC is seeking a Network Support Specialist to assist with monitoring, maintenance, and Tier 1-2 troubleshooting under the guidance of a Senior Network Engineer. This role requires on-site work five days per week at the DC headquarters and field offices.

Responsibilities include configuring Cisco routers/switches, Meraki wireless, Palo Alto firewalls, monitoring tools, and documenting SOPs. Weekend maintenance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in network support.
• CCNA certification is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain LAN/WAN, network devices, UPS systems, and environmental monitoring for HQ and field offices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, Meraki wireless solutions, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Monitor network health using ManageEngine, OpManager, NetFlow, and Configuration Manager.
• Create and update SOPs and configuration tracking documents regularly.
• Handle routine troubleshooting including VLANs, IP conflicts, and connectivity issues; coordinate with vendors.
