Addison Group is working with a retail company to hire a hands-on Network Engineer for a 6-month contract to hire. The role is onsite 3-4 days a week at the San Rafael, CA headquarters, supporting enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.

You will configure and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching, administer Palo Alto firewalls, manage SD-WAN connectivity, and support wireless environments with Juniper Mist or Cisco Meraki.

Qualifications

5+ years of Network Engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching.
Experience supporting enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
Experience administering Palo Alto firewalls.
Experience supporting wireless environments using Juniper Mist and/or Cisco Meraki.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while supporting a critical site location.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Network Engineer supporting the corporate headquarters location.
Support and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure for a large user population.
Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Cisco routing and switching environments.
Administer and support SD-WAN connectivity across enterprise locations.
Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewall infrastructure.
Support wireless networking environments utilizing Juniper Mist and/or Cisco Meraki.
Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
