Axiom Technologies in Tamaqua, PA is seeking a Network Hands & Feet Support Technician to provide on-site support for network and data center infrastructure. You will act as remote hands for network, server, and IT operations teams, performing installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic diagnostics under remote guidance.

This role requires coordinating physical installation, relocation, and removal of equipment, rack and cable work, and after-hours or on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience providing on-site IT support in a corporate environment.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to coordinate with remote engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical installation, relocation, and removal of network and server equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, servers).
• Rack, stack, cable, and label network and server hardware.
• Connect and disconnect network, power, and fiber cables as instructed.
• Assist remote engineers with troubleshooting by checking link lights and reseating cables.
• Replace failed hardware components following standard procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including photos when required.
• Escort vendors and ensure compliance with data center security policies.
