Job summary

Knight Enterprises Management, LLC. is seeking a hands-on Network Administrator to manage and maintain our local IT infrastructure on-site. This vital role covers the health of the data center, LAN/WAN, and on-premise servers, with a strong emphasis on security from the ground up.

The candidate will work with VMware/ESXi, Pure Storage, Cisco/Dell/HP networking, and Windows/Linux environments to ensure reliable operations and data integrity in a 24x7 setting.

Qualifications

• Education in Computer Science or IT, or 1–2 years equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11 Pro, Windows Server (2012–2025), and Linux (CentOS).
• Experience with VMware/ESXi, Exchange, and SQL Server.
• Hands-on networking with Cisco switches/routers and UCS infrastructure.
• Understanding TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and Subnetting.
• Preferred Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+; VMware or Cisco (CCNA).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (VMware/ESXi).
• Manage storage solutions and network hardware in the data center.
• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/SAN performance and connectivity.
• Administer firewalls, endpoint protection, and IDS/IPS systems.
• Perform backups, restorations, and disaster recovery documentation.
• Provide on-site tier-2 hardware and software support and maintain docs.
