Job summary

KDInfotech, LLC is seeking a full-time IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage Windows and Linux servers, oversee VMware virtualization, and collaborate with the Cybersecurity team, while primarily working remotely with occasional after-hours maintenance.

You will administer enterprise storage platforms, drive capacity and backup integrity, manage VMware vSphere/vCenter upgrades and patching, and lead security improvements across systems in partnership with the cybersecurity team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands‑on experience
5+ years of hands‑on IT infrastructure experience with enterprise storage and virtualization
Experience with VMware vSphere/vCenter and NAS/SAN platforms
Working knowledge of Windows/Linux patch management and Active Directory administration
Experience managing vendor relationships and support escalations

Responsibilities

Administer and deploy enterprise storage platforms with capacity management and backup integrity
Manage VMware vSphere/vCenter environments, including upgrades and patching
Drive security and patch management across systems with Cybersecurity team
