Job summary

CompTech Computer Technologies is seeking an experienced Network Administrator II to support deployment, administration, maintenance, and security of enterprise network environments, including LAN, WLAN, and WAN. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and U.S.

citizenship, with on-site work at Langley-Eustis (Langley AFB) in Hampton, VA. The candidate will ensure day-to-day sustainment, integrity, performance, and availability of network infrastructure, while maintaining secure

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of progressive experience in network administration or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience deploying, administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN, WLAN, WAN.
• Experience configuring and maintaining network hardware, software, and infrastructure.
• Experience with network performance monitoring and capacity analysis.
• Experience maintaining network security and implementing security controls.
• Experience upgrades, configuration changes, and troubleshooting network issues.
• Experience developing or maintaining technical documentation and SOPs.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, administer, and sustain LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments.
• Perform day-to-day network administration to ensure availability and security.
• Install, configure, maintain, and update network hardware and software.
• Monitor performance and resolve connectivity and configuration issues.
• Maintain network security posture and implement security controls.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve network issues and ensure reliable services.
• Follow cybersecurity and configuration management procedures.
