Job summary

CompTech is seeking a Network Administrator – Level II to support operations at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL), New Jersey. The Network Administrator will deploy, administer, maintain, and sustain information networks, including LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments, ensuring security, performance, and availability in a DoD setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, documentation, and SOP development; on-site at JB MDL with an Active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Four years of progressive experience in network administration.
• Experience deploying, administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN/WLAN.
• Experience with network performance monitoring, capacity analysis, and security.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and sustain LAN, WLAN, and WAN networks.
• Administer day-to-day operation, sustainment, integrity, security, and availability of network infrastructure.
• Install, configure, maintain, and update network hardware, software, and components.
• Monitor network performance and capacity to support reliable operations.
• Maintain network security posture and implement security controls.
• Perform network maintenance and upgrades to maintain posture.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, configuration, and availability issues.
• Support user account administration and backup/recovery activities.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, maintenance guides, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve network-related issues and ensure reliable services.
