Job summary

CompTech, Inc. is seeking a Network Administrator – Level II to support operations at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ.

The role focuses on deployment, administration, maintenance, and sustainment of LAN, WLAN, and WAN networks to ensure security, availability, and performance. The ideal candidate has at least four years of network experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and relevant certifications (Security+ and CCNA preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in network administration or related field.
• Experience deploying, administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or applicable equivalency of four (4) years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and sustain LAN, WLAN, and WAN networks.
• Administer day-to-day operation, security, and availability of network infrastructure.
• Install, configure, maintain, and update network hardware and software components.
• Monitor performance and capacity; perform troubleshooting and capacity analysis.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, maintenance guides, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve network-related issues.
