Job summary

CompTech is seeking a Network Administrator – Level II to support operations at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL), New Jersey. The Network Administrator will deploy, administer, maintain, and sustain information networks, including LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments. The role ensures the day-to-day availability, integrity, performance, and security of network infrastructure.

Active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of progressive experience in network administration or related field.
• Experience deploying, administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN/WLAN/WAN environments.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Certifications: Security+ and CCNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and sustain LAN/WAN/WLAN environments.
• Administer day-to-day operation, sustainment, integrity, security, and availability of network infrastructure.
• Install, configure, maintain, and update network hardware, software, and components.
• Monitor performance and perform capacity analysis to support reliable operations.
• Maintain network security posture and implement required controls.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and configuration issues.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, docs, and knowledge-base articles.
