Job summary

The Stellar Family of Companies is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support construction oversight on a 3-story wood frame multifamily project in Kilgore, TX.

Under the Director of Construction and Lead Superintendent, you will coordinate subcontractors, monitor schedule and budget, ensure adherence to plans and quality standards, and maintain a safe worksite in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain schedule.
• Knowledge of site safety practices and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 40 hours per week, including weekends/holidays during peak periods.
• Coordinate and direct all on-site activities with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review plans, details and specs daily for potential issues.
• Submit RFIs and coordinate with Architect/Engineer as needed.
• Maintain site safety and conduct toolbox meetings.
• Prepare and update punch lists to minimize final deficiencies.
• Maintain weekly time sheets and monitor labor use.
• Ensure materials are delivered and used efficiently to maintain schedule.
