Job summary

The Stellar Family of Companies is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to oversee multifamily construction sites in Kilgore, TX. This role reports to the Director of Construction and Lead Superintendent, coordinating subcontractors, material suppliers, and adherence to project documents.

You will monitor quality, safety, and progress, manage daily field activities, and engage with architects/engineers to resolve on-site issues while maintaining schedule and cost controls for a 3-story wood frame

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred; construction-related coursework is a plus.
• Five years minimum experience in a construction supervisory position for multifamily/high-end projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site activities and coordinate subcontractors.
• Ensure work is performed per construction documents and company standards.
• Maintain project on time and within budget; coordinate with Project Manager on schedule and costs.
• Review plans, details and specifications daily to identify issues and information gaps.
• Maintain site safety and file reports; conduct toolbox and safety meetings.
