Job summary

DHI Communities, a division of D.R. Horton, is seeking a Multifamily-Assistant Superintendent in Washington state to support delivery of multifamily communities on schedule and with quality.

You will uphold safety, environmental compliance, and accurate documentation, working with subcontractors and local officials. The role requires at least 1 year in construction, a valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; strong MS Office skills are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of construction experience.
• Own a vehicle with a valid driver's license.
• Proficient in MS Office and email.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to outside weather, moving mechanical parts, high places and electrical risk.
• Noise level is generally loud.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing project activities to meet schedule, quality, and budget objectives.
• Communicate project needs to management, field team, and subcontractors.
• Monitor site safety and enforce safety policies.
• Prepare for and participate in subcontractor meetings.
• Monitor environmental policy compliance.
• Plan and track project activity for assigned areas.
• Interact with local building officials regarding inspections and sign-off.
• Inspect site daily to ensure progress and cleanliness.
• Create and distribute punch lists and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain jobsite and construction trailer in neat condition.
• Support reporting (daily logs, safety inspections, RFIs, change orders).
• Conduct business professionally to serve customers and company goodwill.
• Ability to work overtime.
