Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Multifamily-Superintendent WA in the Seattle area to deliver large multifamily projects on time with top quality.

You will uphold safety, environmental compliance, project tracking, and documentation while leading field teams. The role requires 10+ years of supervisory construction experience, strong scheduling, and proficiency with DRH Construction apps; OSHA 30 preferred. You will coordinate trades, inspections, RFIs, and subcontractor invoices while maintaining

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience in the construction field, with a focus on large, multifamily and commercial building projects.
Must have a vehicle capable of carrying supplies, valid driver’s license and be willing to drive among designated communities in daytime and nighttime
Ability to utilize DRH Construction applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop
Proficient with technologies and applications used in business and on construction sites, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project software
Ability to schedule multifamily projects using SureTrak/Project/Phoenix Project Manager or similar scheduling software

Responsibilities

Prepare site and arrange for installation of temporary facilities for construction
Conduct preconstruction meetings with critical trades to determine readiness
Plan, coordinate, and manage day-to-day project activities to meet schedule, quality, and budget
Monitor project safety and enforce standards for all onsite personnel
Prepare for and conduct all onsite subcontractor meetings
Schedule inspections with officials and re-inspections as required
Take ownership of punch lists and ensure smooth transitions
Assist in training assistant superintendents and ensure policy compliance
Prepare and submit RFIs and resolve subcontractor questions
Document subcontractor back charges for repairs and other labor
Complete daily logs, weekly safety meetings, sign-ins, and change orders
Approve subcontractors invoices with project manager
Develop and maintain rapport with subcontractors, homeowners, city officials and inspectors
Exhibit professional conduct and maintain teamwork
Maintain construction inventory on site
Enforce company construction methods and quality standards
Conduct business professionally to serve customers and increase profitability
Be available for extra hours and maintain attendance
