Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking an On-Site Supply Customer Service Representative to support maintenance, facilities, and production teams in a large NC facility. This role focuses on ensuring a steady flow of MRO materials and exceptional service to internal customers.

The position is 100% on-site with a three-shift team, offering opportunities to engage in cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and material handling while adhering to GMP and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
• Experience in inventory control, manufacturing, or MRO environments.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Fill requests for MRO and indirect materials in the supply room.
• Serve as the walk-up customer contact for material needs.
• Locate materials using internal systems, part numbers, and product searches.
• Conduct cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Perform inventory adjustments, transfers, and counts.
• Receive, verify, and manage incoming shipments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to stock and deliver materials.
• Follow all company procedures, GMP standards, OSHA regulations, and customer safety requirements.
