Job summary

GPC Genuine Parts Company, through NAPA Auto Parts, seeks an Inventory Specialist to support the Onsite Parts Management sector. You will unpack shipments, stock shelves, and process orders with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires following procedures, operating a scan-gun, and safely handling heavy items as part of daily duties. A forklift certification is a plus, and prior warehouse experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience stocking, loading, or pulling.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to recognize part numbers and line codes quickly and accurately.
• Must be able to write legibly and operate a computer terminal.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Warehouse and heavy-duty experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks shipments and shelves items per location directives.
• Pulls orders for standard and special stock; routes products to the correct area.
• Uses scan-gun, verifies outbound orders, and labels shipping trays per DOT standards.
• Documents shipment details with buck slips and freight bills.
• Loads trucks for delivery and records piece counts and freight data.
