Tri City National Bank is hiring a Mortgage Loan Closer in West Allis, WI to manage a timely loan-closing pipeline and support team members. The role involves preparing closing documents for various loan types using Mortgagebot/IDS or LaserPro and ensuring compliance with state and federal rules.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of consumer mortgage closing experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate with processors, underwriters, and legal staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consumer mortgage closing experience.
• Advanced understanding of mortgage closings and problem resolutions.
• Proficiency in typing and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Close loans in coordination with processor, loan officer and underwriter.
• Train and mentor new and existing team members.
• Prepare loan closing documents for purchase, refinance, construction, and mortgage loans using Mortgagebot/IDS or LaserPro.
• Retain knowledge of secondary mortgage lending and government loans.
• Resolve issues with compliance and legal counsel.
• Update policies and procedures and ensure the procedures manual is current.
• Ensure accurate preparation and delivery of loan documents.
• Review loan files for completeness before closing package.
• Monitor TRID rules and disclosures for accuracy and tolerances.
• Communicate with all parties to avoid or resolve problems.
• Complete HMDA information on all files.
• Assist with post-closing duties and reports.
