Job summary

Cox Fleet, a leading provider of on-site mobile maintenance and trailer services, seeks a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to service light to heavy-duty fleets in a mobile environment. You will perform PMs, inspections, and repairs across electrical, engine, and hydraulic systems, with DOT compliance and documentation.

You will operate a company truck, maintain tools, and coordinate with customers while ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of work.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with related field experience or 5 years in a related field.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA pre-employment screening and DOT physical.
• Valid state driver’s license and 21+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections, PM inspections, and light/medium/heavy repairs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems on trucks and trailers.
• Maintain service trucks and document RO findings using company tools.
• Order parts, obtain approvals, and manage repair estimates with management.
• Work safely infield/onsite and meet productivity targets.
