Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services in Indianapolis, IN is seeking skilled diesel technicians to perform on-site maintenance and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers. Our mobile repair teams bring decades of experience and hold DOT and brake certifications to keep fleets on the road.

You’ll schedule and oversee preventive maintenance, handle repairs, and manage parts on the service truck. On-site work means less downtime for customers and more focus on what you love.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to work second or third shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
• 2 years of experience in federal inspections and brake inspections.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine components, exhaust, after-treatment, lift-gates, tires).
• Schedule and overlook maintenance procedures including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle and trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely fashion.
